Hi, I just wanted to make clear that it does not make sense to remove latex-beamer from testing because of this bug, unless tetex-base is removed, too. The same files are also in the tetex-base tarball, and sooner or later somebody needs to contact upstream, anyway.
It's just that I have enough license auditing to do on my own files that I don't feel the urge to contact him *now*, while there's a maintainer for latex-beamer who can do the same. If you feel that you are not suited for this task (e.g. because you don't feel safe in "legal english"), please speak up.
