This is gnucash trying to prevent a crash, it is not a crash in itself - gnucash simply reports a problem and exits. It may not be a simple or obvious message but it does avoid a lot of real crashes. e.g. Once you do as requested, gnucash will start without complaining about the file being locked. Ensure any saved reports have a modified title from the stock gnucash report and you will avoid problems in the future. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.data-freedom.org/ http://www.nosoftwarepatents.com/ http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
