Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: wishlist

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "boca":

 * Package name     : boca
   Version          : 1.0.7+dfsg-1
   Upstream contact : Robert Kausch <[email protected]>
 * URL              : https://github.com/enzo1982/BoCA
 * License          : LGPL-2+, Expat, LGPL-2.1+, BSD-3-Clause, LGPL-2.1,
MPL-1.1, APSL-2.0, Zlib, public-domain, public-domain-special-exception,
GPL-2+, BSD-2-Clause, Apache-2.0
 * Vcs              : https://salsa.debian.org/debian/boca
   Section          : libs

The source builds the following binary packages:

  libboca-dev - BoCA - fre:ac Component Architecture (development files)
  libboca-1.0-3 - BoCA - fre:ac Component Architecture (runtime libraries)

To access further information about this package, please visit the following
URL:

  https://mentors.debian.net/package/boca/

Alternatively, you can download the package with 'dget' using this command:

  dget -x
https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/b/boca/boca_1.0.7+dfsg-1.dsc

Changes for the initial release:

 boca (1.0.7+dfsg-1) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   * Initial release. (Closes: #1127689)

Notes:

* This package depends on smooth (RFS: Bug#1128331). The current Salsa
  CI is failing due to missing dependencies because of this. Please
  consider reviewing and sponsoring smooth before this one.

* The Vcs-* links point to https://salsa.debian.org/debian/boca, though
  I currently don't have access to the "debian" namespace, so this
  currently sits in https://salsa.debian.org/manphiz/boca. It would be
  great if someone can create the repo for me. Thanks in advance.

* This package contains some vendored packages, especially header files,
  for linking external libraries or programs during runtime. The
  vendored copies are not actually used and it will link to the system
  libraries shipped in Debian.

* Some vendored packages that are incompatible with DFSG are removed.
  The source package is repacked and hence the "+dfsg" suffix.

* The finalizing commit is in a separate "uploading" branch in case
  there are comments to address.

* This is a core dependency of fre:ac (Bug#1034440).
