Dear Maintainer,

===============================================================================

mate-volume-control is a great graphical tool for controling audio.

It would be a great improvement if there was a test/command-line version
that could then be used to program media keys. In other words, a text
progam that accesses libmatemixer directly.

Other programs, like amixer, do this but mate-volume-control seems to
work better with more audio sources.
