Package: abcde
Version: 2.9.3-1
Followup-For: Bug #907852
X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]

Dear Maintainer,

the bug is still present, six years after it has been reported and a patch with the fix provided.

Granted, changing locally the perl script is trivial, there is no need, for example, to recompile the application.

As far as I see, the last commit in abcde has been made in 2021, so for the foreseeable future, there will be no new release upstream.

Would it make sense to incorporate the patch in Debian by default?
