With the new "3.0 (quilt)" archive format, the handling of the patches is done by dpkg itself. Please consider the following 'patch' (i.e. remove the lines starting with '-'): Greetings, Alexandre /tmp/quickfix-1.15.1+dfsg$ grep quilt -ri debian/source/format:3.0 (quilt) -debian/control: quilt, /tmp/quickfix-1.15.1+dfsg$ cat debian/README.source -This package uses quilt to manage all modifications to the upstream -source. Changes are stored in the source package as diffs in -debian/patches and applied during the build. - -See /usr/share/doc/quilt/README.source for a detailed explanation. - The upstream source tarball is repackaged to exclude binary files (DLL and JAR files that are not used in the course of pacakging/building for Debian).
