Package: blends-dev Version: 0.7.11 Severity: important Tags: security blend-gen-control sets unavailable packages as Suggests.
However, apt currently keeps packages installed if they are listed as Suggests of another package. I am concerned that this could mean that users could have a package installed that used to be supported previously in Debian and now is unable to receive any security support because the package is not in Debian any more. Perhaps apt's default behavior is unwise. I haven't investigated when apt started treating installed Suggests like this. Thank you, Jeremy Bícha
