Thanks for an interesting ITP. I gave your packaging a glance on mentors, there is a bunch of lintian errors and warnings you should tend to first. Please take extra care with inspecting copyright details of the files in the package as top-level LICENSE file is not always exhaustive. A tool called licensecheck might help you with that.
