Package: wxm
Version: wxmaxima
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]

Dear Maintainer,

Wxmaxima opens with the following error message, then freezes:

Message from maxima's stderr stream: The assertion !madvise(m,p2,MADV_HUGEPAGE)
on line 67 of o/msbrk.c in function msbrk failed: Invalid argument

This looks like a maxima bug. Attempting to start maxima from the command line
fails with a somewhat similar error message:

The assertion !madvise(m,p2,MADV_HUGEPAGE) on line 67 of o/msbrk.c in function
msbrk failed: Invalid argumentAborte

I'll file a separate report for the maxima bug.
