Mike, lomiri-gallery-app-common was added when the app was packaged for Debian, but wasn't pushed into ubports. There is a lintian warning for including the .desktop in a different package than the binary it runs. AppStream needs the .desktop and AppStream metadata (not provided for most Lomiri things yet) to be in the primary binary package. [1] [2] I think it would be simplest to remove lomiri-gallery-app-common and move its contents to the lomiri-gallery-app package. Same for lomiri-mediaplayer-app & its common package.
