Hi. I've finally reported the bugs against packages which FTBFS with autoconf-2.73. The reports are available here:

I suggest Alex that he uploads autoconf for unstable in a week or two as well. [ In the meantime, if you need the new gettext for some tests, I suggest that you temporarily disable those tests ].
