As you are upstream some useful general information: https://wiki.debian.org/UpstreamGuide a short review: d/changelog - the initial upload is always at debian revision -1 and will only have one entry, closing the ITP bug. IOW, remove your -2 and -3 entries. - d/control - only specify versions in your build dependencies if you have a real version constraint. This is unlikely for your intitial upload, so remove them. (expect debhelper-compat, of course, where you need to specify it.) - short and long descriptions should be improved / enhanced to make more clear what this package is about and why someone wants to install it -- see Policy 3.4 - There is notify.wav. Can you describe where you've got this file from?
