Dear maintainer, Following all the recent kernel security issues, DSA decided to enable audit on the hosts it manages. We discovered that riscv64 support is missing from audit in trixie. Unfortunately support only landed upstream in version 4.0.3, while trixie ships version 4.0.2. Fortunately the upstream patch enabling riscv64 support applies cleanly [1], and the only needed additional change is passing --with-riscv to the configure script. I have tested this successfully. I have discussed with an SRM and adding support for new hardware in stable appears to be acceptable in this case. The changes also look reasonable at first glance, although it still needs proper review after being submitted through a trixie-pu bug. Would you be fine to make this change in trixie? If you prefer, I can also prepare the upload and submit corresponding the trixie-pu bug.
