The current maintainer, Debian CLI Applications Team <[email protected]>, has been inactive since 2016. The two uploads since then have been a no-source NMU (Holger Levsen, 2022) and a one-off cli-common cleanup sweep (Andreas Tille, 2025) that inadvertently introduced a grave bug [1]. That bug has since been resolved via an NMU [2] (1.5.0+dfsg-1.1, sponsored by Jeroen Ploemen), but the package remains without an active maintainer. I plan to adopt hexbox under the Debian .NET Team <[email protected]>, and follow up with a new upstream release (1.6.0 is available [3]). The package will be maintained in a git-buildpackage workflow on Salsa [4]. Relevant bug: #1111276 [5] (cli-common removal effort that triggered the original breakage).
