* Package name : rust-flo-curves Version : 0.3.1 Upstream Contact: Andrew Hunter https://github.com/Logicalshift * URL : https://github.com/Logicalshift/flo_curves * License : Apache-2.0 Programming Lang: Rust Description : Rust library for manipulating Bézier curves flo_curves is a Rust library providing routines for inspecting and manipulating curves, with a particular focus on cubic Bézier curves. It offers algorithms for evaluating curves, detecting intersections, performing geometric operations, and working with paths composed of multiple connected curves. The library is used by visioncortex, a vectorization engine that converts raster images into geometric representations. visioncortex is in turn required by vtracer, a command-line and library tool for converting raster images into vector graphics. This package is being introduced as part of the dependency chain needed to package Rayforge for Debian. Rayforge is an open-source application for preparing and controlling laser cutting and CNC workflows. The dependency chain is: rust-flo-curves -> rust-visioncortex -> vtracer -> rayforge Packaging these dependencies will enable Rayforge and its related ecosystem to be built entirely from Debian-packaged components. I intend to maintain this package following Debian Rust Team conventions and will seek sponsorship for the initial upload.
