Description : Battle.net Chat Service Utility library
Battle.net Chat Service Utility library.
BNCSUtil aids applications trying to log on to Classic Battle.net using
the binary protocol. It provides cryptographic operations for game
version checking, CD key validation, and SRP-based password handling
(NLS) for Warcraft III, StarCraft, Diablo II, and other Blizzard games.
This package contains the C/C++ development headers and CMake package
configuration files (bncsutilConfig.cmake) needed to build applications
against libbncsutil.
Bncsutil is two decades old C/C++ library used by various
bnet chat bots and GHost++ game hosting bots. The library
is essentially feature complete with only minor build
fixes in recent years. I am the current upstream maintainer
together with some folks from bnetdocs.org project.
It's not expected for this library to be used in a lot of dependant
packages but it would simplify development of
classic bnet bots in this specific niche community.
I am willing to maintain the package via mentorship
if I manage to find one.
