My previous release is: bullseye
I am upgrading to: trixie
Upgrade date: 2026-05-20
Method:
1. Upgrade from bullseye to bookworm

2. Upgrade from bookworm to trixie
apt update
apt upgrade --without-new-pkgs
apt full-upgrade
- Were there any non-Debian packages installed before the upgrade? If
so, what were they?
Yes. They are grafana, influxdb, and nginx. Probably unrelated.
- Was the system pre-update a 'pure' system only containing packages
from the previous release? If not, which packages were not from that
release?
Probably unrelated.
- Did any packages fail to upgrade?
No.
- Were there any problems with the system after upgrading?
Yes.
On bullseye/bookworm, gnupg Depends: gpg-wks-server.
On trixie,
1) gnupg Suggests: gpg-wks-server
2) gpg-wks-server Depends: default-mta | mail-transport-agent.
exim4-daemon-light got installed on trixie. It wasn't installed
previously. And port 25/tcp is now listening. This is unexpected.
Please consider note this unexpected behavior somewhere, probably
release-notes?
