Yes adam, sorry, I don't want to disparage your choices. SWIG is only 
one of the numerous example of programs that have never considered zts 
as sth valid. even php upstream does not really support this, even 2 or 
3 years after its creation.

Anyway, I'm not very fluent in C, I dunno php internals, and is occupied 
full-time by the kde 3.4 packaging, so I really do not have time for 
that.

btw, that bug should be reported to swig.
I'll do it, that the less I can do.
