Hello. I've forwarded this issue to the above address. For the record, I don't think the comparison with bad RAM is fair. A better example would be perhaps the way Linux does not blindly believe the information provided by the system BIOS, which can also be a "lie" which is not to be trusted. In either case, I understand that you don't want to disable the test. Hopefully (if you read the above link) the authors might fix it in a way which makes everybody happy, as apparently they already did something similar in the past. Thanks.
