Dear Maintainer, I would also like to ask for inclusion of this fix in trixie.
Currently, our tooling for network authentication is broken because of this bug; our users need to enable the backports repo and install curl from there to authenticate against our authentication services. This is 100% reproducible in a fresh trixie install in a VM using emulated software TPM, using a key stored in the TPM and authenticating against a toy webservice. I can share a reproducing script that reliably demonstrates this regression if needed. Thank you, Katharina Bogad
