Source: pslib Version: 0.4.8-2 Severity: normal Tags: patch Hi Uwe,
while looking at packages for which vcswatch reports problems, I came across pslib. First of all, thank you for maintaining both the upstream project and the Debian package for so many years. Since nearly all of your other Debian packages are maintained on Salsa, I wondered whether pslib might simply be an exception because the Debian packaging lives together with the upstream sources. To make experimenting easier, I extracted the Debian packaging with git filter-repo --path pslib/debian --path-rename pslib/debian/:debian/ and imported the result into a Salsa repository for the Debian package: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/pslib If you find this useful, I'd be happy if you considered using that repository for the Debian packaging. Of course, if your current workflow works better for you, please feel free to ignore this. While reviewing the packaging, I also noticed that debian/copyright appears to be incomplete, which is why I'm filing this bug report. I prepared an updated version here: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/pslib/-/blob/master/debian/copyright?ref_type=heads I believe this covers the missing copyright information. The second paragraph ("Files: src/ps_intern.h ...") is probably just a minor issue that lrc pointed out and could likely be addressed upstream. The remaining additions, however, document copyright information that appears to be missing from the current debian/copyright. I hope this is helpful. I would appreciate if you would take over the repository on Salsa as the Vcs for the packaging of pslib.
