Package: xdg-desktop-portal-wlr
Version: 0.8.3-1
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]

Dear Maintainer,
after upgrading xdg-desktop-portal-wlr to 0.8.3-1 screensharing using
firefox or chromium freezes after a few seconds. I troubleshot the
issue and found a workaround:

https://tg.st/u/0001-screencast-raise-pipewire-buffer-pool-from-2-to-4-b.patch

Upstream is aware of the issue and I assume that their soon will be a
fix. See:

https://github.com/emersion/xdg-desktop-portal-wlr/releases

I mainly filed this issue to raise awareness and provide a workaround
for other users. Probably you don't want to package this. I can
reproduce the issue on two 2-monitor systems.

Cheers,
        Thomas
