Control: fixed 799048 2025.1.5-0.1 Control: close 799048 This was reported in September 2015 against pudb 2014.1-1 on Python 3.4 with python3-urwid 1.2.1. The traceback came from urwid's curses_display.draw_screen() raising UnicodeDecodeError while drawing a value that contained a multi-byte character.
The urwid display layer and pudb have both been substantially rewritten since then, with proper handling of multi-byte/Unicode text, and all of the affected versions are long gone from the archive. Closing as obsolete. If you can still reproduce the failure on a currently supported release, please reopen with a recipe against the current pudb and I will take another look.
