It's correct that rsyslog has been failing to build on hppa for a long time. But the addition of gdb is very recent [1] and most likely not the cause, but only a symptom. [1] https://tracker.debian.org/news/1770299/accepted-rsyslog-826060-3-source-into-experimental/
