Package: aptitude Version: 0.8.13 Aptitude has downloaded Update Package files, but doesn't install them.
I start as root in the console typing 'aptitude' Enter, that presents me the TIA, I hit 'u' for 'update', it rolls down some lines but very fast, then presents me the normal overview. I hit 'g g' to start the installation (as so often in th past)... Also I cannot 'Cancel pending actions', all the packages that were to update before stay as they are. --- And it doesn't log anything either, doesn't even create a log file. This behaviour devellopped just a about two months ago, before it worked perfectly for several months. And I haven't changed any of the supporting programs either...
