I checked now: on my machine, the version of glycin-loaders is 2.0.8-1, and the version of loupe is 49.1-1, so I already half-departed from trixie in this regard for various reasons (including testing for this very bug report). I could downgrade to the version from trixie, but I would probably get back some old bugs this way.
Therefore, John, I guess that to prepare a new package, you might wish to take any version of glycin-loaders between 2.0.8-1 (which wouldn't cause me problems) and the current one in forky (which I still have to test; it's likely to open a can of worms for me) as a basis.
