You don't need to NMU.. *kidding*

Well, the "problem" is, that the kernel-team will prepare a modules
package to conglomerate all oot-modules. Unfortunately, they don't want
contrib modules, OTOH I was told that they will include ipw3964 (which
requires even a non-free, binary-only frequency-controlling-daemon). So,
there is some need for clarification about that, I'm doing that
tomorrow, not in the mood for modules today.

If the kernel-teams refuses to accept the ipw2*00 into the modules
package, then I'm not sure if it makes any sense to keep these packages
in Debian at all because I was also told that the stable-release team
will not accept stable-updates for individual oot-module packages.

The reason to keep the ipw packages as separated oot-module packages is,
that although they are already in the kernel mainline tree, it takes
Intel always some time (usually month) to update the driver in mainline
compared to the separately released once.

However, I hope to get a positive feedback about keeping the ipw in
Debian soon, or if not, they should be imediately removed afterwards.
