You are right that providing an APT repository would make the installation experience much closer to native Debian packages. We will set up an official Debian repository for x-cmd, including: - signed Release metadata - GPG key - apt source configuration - automatic updates for future releases After that, we will update the installation documentation accordingly. Also thanks for offering to review the package. We completely understand you are busy.
