However, all these build times are still much shorter by orders than the
ones for riscv64. riscv64 really is the blocker and delaying most of
the package migrations.

architectures (currently it is only done for amd64). Now that GCC 16 is
the default GCC version, it has a significant impact on package build
time.
For GCC 15, this configure change was done before the default GCC
version change.
