Package: toot Version: 0.52.1-1 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer,
Unfortunately Threads accounts have two (possibly more) aliases by default, and they can't seem to decide which one is the canonical one. toot follow @[email protected] doesn't work [despite this being the username on threads' side] toot unfollow @[email protected] does work [this might be an alias thing??] but generally: toot unfollow @[email protected] @[email protected] @[email protected] @[email protected] should all do the same thing. And yes, threads is a big enough instance that they should be handled as a special (annoying) case [up to 99% of fediverse users are on threads] -- System Information: Distributor ID: Devuan Description: Devuan GNU/Linux 7 (freia/ceres) Release: 7 Codename: freia ceres Architecture: x86_64 Kernel: Linux 7.1.3+deb14-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_CPU_OUT_OF_SPEC Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_CA:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages toot depends on: ii python3 3.14.6-1 ii python3-bs4 4.15.0-1 ii python3-click 8.2.0+0.really.8.1.8-2 ii python3-dateutil 2.9.0-5 ii python3-requests 2.34.2-1 ii python3-socks 1.7.1+dfsg-1 ii python3-tomlkit 0.13.3-3 ii python3-urwid 3.0.4-1 ii python3-wcwidth 0.2.14+dfsg1-2 Versions of packages toot recommends: ii python3-pil 12.2.0-1 toot suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
