Hi, The following vulnerability was published for libvirt. CVE-2026-18917[0]: | A flaw was found in libvirt. An unprivileged local user could | exploit an integer overflow vulnerability in the NodeGetFreePages | RPC handler. This flaw allows crafted values to bypass a size check, | leading to an undersized memory buffer. Subsequently, real NUMA node | data can overwrite this buffer. This heap buffer overflow can | corrupt the root libvirt daemon's memory, potentially leading to a | denial of service or local privilege escalation. If you fix the vulnerability please also make sure to include the CVE (Common Vulnerabilities & Exposures) id in your changelog entry. For further information see: [0] https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/CVE-2026-18917 https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-18917 [1] https://gitlab.com/libvirt/libvirt/-/work_items/903 Please adjust the affected versions in the BTS as needed. Regards, Salvatore
