Hello,

Yes I have a factor 1,25 in the screen display

Its only Easytag which have a bad behavior in this condition.

Why?

What I done

set a size which fit my usage and see the log in the bottom of the file

[EtApplicationWindow] width=1340 height=800 is_maximized=false paned_position=657

froze that file

sudo chattr +i state

It seems solve the problem for me

A little better when removed it but still oversized in bottom
Thanks.

My laptop is 1920x1080 and EasyTAG does just about fit vertically when
run. I notice in your screenshot some of the graphics are a bit larger
than usual. I measured it in GIMP and it's exactly 125% the size of what
I get. Do you have display scaling turned on by chance?

In any case it's still a bug. I think it matches the upstream bug I
linked at the top. That one is complaining about a smaller display but
it looks like a very similar issue.

I also notice Arch Linux applied this MR (that David rejected):
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/easytag/-/merge_requests/18

EasyTAG upstream is in maintenance mode these days, so it's tempting to
apply it in the Debian package as well until a better fix comes along
(I'll think about it!).
