We have hit it again at the beginning of august, and yesterday...

I have uploaded the patch from testing to stable-proposed-updates in the
delayed/15 queue. I have also installed the patch in our production,
so we will see in 15 days if it poses problem, and I'll file the
debian-release bug.

FTR, the patch was accepted upstream, with just a small error reporting
difference (which makes more behavior difference than the patch in
testing, thus "less safe").
