The upstream code used by golang-github-influxdb-enterprise-client package is from 2015 and it appears unmaintained. It has no reverse dependencies in Debian. https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/golang-github-influxdb-enterprise-client The upstream project is 404: https://github.com/influxdb/enterprise-client This removal request is part of a larger batch to remove 100+ unused golang-*-dev packages from Debian. I believe the QA cost associated with keeping all of them is larger than the cost of (hopefully extremely rare) re-introduction of any accidentally removed package if there is ever any future need for it.
