Package: ircii Version: 20051015-1 mksiginc segfaults (at least on powerpc) when I compile it with a snapshot of GCC 4.2. I'm not entirely sure whether this is a compiler bug or one in your package, but from other cases like these it is likely that your package is doing something wrong and that newer optimizations exhibit the problem.
Maybe you or your upstream can investigate. If everything fails, I can try to find someone who knows C/GCC well. You can reproduce this problem with the gcc-snapshot package (or presumably with the gcc-4.2 package). > Automatic build of ircii_20051015-1 on test.track.rz.uni-augsburg.de by > sbuild/powerpc 0.47 ... > gcc -I. -I/build/tbm/ircii-20051015/include > -I/build/tbm/ircii-20051015/source/rijndael -O2 -DDEBIAN -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -o > mksiginc mksiginc.o -ltermcap -L/usr/lib -lcrypt > ./mksiginc > sig.inc > /bin/sh: line 1: 20641 Segmentation fault ./mksiginc >sig.inc > make[1]: *** [sig.inc] Error 139 > make[1]: Leaving directory `/build/tbm/ircii-20051015' -- Martin Michlmayr http://www.cyrius.com/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
