The golang-github-mssola-user-agent package was last uploaded on 2020-01-25 and appears unmaintained. It has no reverse dependencies in Debian. https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/golang-github-mssola-user-agent The upstream project was archived in 2023: https://github.com/mssola/user_agent IMPORTANT: THIS PROJECT HAS MIGRATED TO https://github.com/mssola/useragent Thus according to Go team policy if it is ever needed, it should be packaged under a new source package name. This removal request is part of a larger batch to remove 100+ unused golang-*-dev packages from Debian. I believe the QA cost associated with keeping all of them is larger than the cost of (hopefully extremely rare) re-introduction of any accidentally removed package if there is ever any future need for it.
