The 'gopass' package was for a completely different upstream, it shouldn't be re-introduced IMHO. I think the request in here is about adding a new binary package 'gopass' as part of the 'golang-github-gopasspw-gopass' source package. That seems reasonable, but the bug should be assigned to the right package, not for the old 'gopass' that was a different project. There is a merge request to implement the idea here: https://salsa.debian.org/go-team/packages/golang-github-gopasspw-gopass/-/merge_requests/1 That request seems reasonable, but consider using compat 14 and adding Static-Built-Using.
