Not yet completely. For one, xemacs does not freeze anymore completely, it only redraws the tabs at the top of the screen all the time. When I change the size back to the original size, the redrawing stops. I can actually edit text even while it is redrawing the tabs, but it still looks like the previous freeze. So I would say it is not completely useless as is, but not very nice. When editing while in "flicker mode", the redrawing does take some CPU time, and it does not successfully redraw the complete window, it seems everything that is larger than the original window is not redrawn if I maximize and change back to the original size a couple of times.
