Under a UKWM (X11) session, enabling Settings -> Theme -> Window Effects -> “Effects mode” causes rendering artifacts and ghosting in the Control Center window. Disabling effects mode restores normal rendering. Steps to reproduce: 1. Log into a UKWM (X11) session. 2. Open Settings -> Theme -> Window Effects. 3. Enable “Effects mode”. 4. Scroll or drag the Control Center window. Actual result: The window shows ghosting and residual rendering artifacts. Expected result: The window should render normally when effects mode is enabled. With effects enabled, org.ukui.style menu-transparency is set to 0.75 and the Control Center uses a translucent window. UKWM does not provide the KWin blur interface used by the application, resulting in a translucent window without actual blur. The application should detect whether the current compositor supports blur before enabling translucent-background and blur effects. If blur is unavailable, it should fall back to an opaque window.
