On Linux 2.6 (at least on my 2.6.15), I can simply pass dev=/dev/cdrw to cdrecord without needing to -scanbus or use any SCSI device identifier. Wouldn't this be a better way to introduce a new user to cdrecord in the documentation? -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-k7-smp Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
