Would you please clarify? Yes, I wasn't clear on that, sorry. Probably because I don't have a strong opinion. :-) In general, I would welcome the check that Andrew has suggested. However, if this is a lot of work for you, then by all means, please do *not* implement this. I think we can live without that check as well. So my bottom line is: if the check is easy for you to write, I'd appreciate having it in Lintian right now. But please do not invest significant time, the other checks you've already implemented were needed much more. Regards, Tobias
