I'm not comfortable disabling this part of upstream checks. You might want to reach them to check if those could be overridden. Meanwhile, maybe try to build with a clean tree built from dpkg-source? I build using git-buildpackage and pbuilder and it does work fine here. Regards, -- Yves-Alexis
