The simpleDesk session path does not propagate the display environment to the D-Bus/systemd user activation environment. This path is entered through: ukui-session simpleDesk and is used by the LightDM/wlcom greeter scenario. As a result, services activated over D-Bus during the session may start without variables such as DISPLAY, XAUTHORITY, WAYLAND_DISPLAY, XDG_SESSION_TYPE, XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP and QT_QPA_PLATFORM, and then fail to connect to the display. The normal UKUI session already imports these variables, but the simpleDesk path does not. In simpleDeskApplication, XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP is set to “UKUI”, but the updated environment is not passed to the D-Bus/systemd activation environment before autostart applications are launched. Expected result: The simpleDesk session should propagate the display environment before starting applications, so D-Bus-activated services can connect to the display normally. Regards,
