Both of these patches should be direct upstream cherry-picks, actually. :) The tip of upstream depends on 0.87.1, so would you be referring to a new upstream tag?
Otherwise, please reconsider adding packages that include their api in the names so we don't have to be doing this kind of extra work. Happy hacking,
