Hi Andrew,I had a complete package back in 2022 and I never really touched it again. I didn't fully know if the payload binaries were permissible to be packaged under DFSG.
I'm not interested in packaging mtkclient anymore, but feel free to use my old work at https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/packages/mtkclient.
