Hi!

While rebuilding the python related packages against the Python 3.15rc2 version we found that hipblaslt fails to build from source. It fails with different errors for the arch all and the arm64 builds.

arch: arm64: https://debusine.debian.net/debian/r-python-python3.15/artifact/4856674/

In that log there are a number of errors architecture related, like for example this one:

In file included from /usr/lib/llvm-21/lib/clang/21/include/immintrin.h:19: /usr/lib/llvm-21/lib/clang/21/include/mmintrin.h:14:2: error: "This header is only meant to be used on x86 and x64 architecture" 14 | #error "This header is only meant to be used on x86 and x64 architecture"
      |  ^
/usr/lib/llvm-21/lib/clang/21/include/mmintrin.h:74:3: error: use of undeclared identifier '__builtin_ia32_emms'; did you mean '__builtin_isless'?
   74 |   __builtin_ia32_emms();
      |   ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
/usr/lib/gcc/aarch64-linux-gnu/16/../../../../include/c++/16/cmath:1307:12: note: '__builtin_isless' declared here
 1307 |   { return __builtin_isless(__x, __y); }
      |            ^

arch all: https://debusine.debian.net/debian/r-python-python3.15/artifact/4856236/

In that log, the package doesn't even start building, due to this error:

dh binary-indep -Scmake
   dh_update_autotools_config -i -O-Scmake
   dh_autoreconf -i -O-Scmake
   dh_auto_build -i -O-Scmake
cd obj-x86_64-linux-gnu && make -j4 INSTALL="install --strip-program=true" VERBOSE=1 dh_auto_build: error: chdir("obj-x86_64-linux-gnu") failed: No such file or directory dh_auto_build: error: cd obj-x86_64-linux-gnu && make -j4 INSTALL="install --strip-program=true" VERBOSE=1 returned exit code 25
make: *** [debian/rules:93: binary-indep] Error 25

The same errors are visible in the Debian buildds:
- https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=hipblaslt&arch=all&ver=7.1.1%2Bdfsg-4&stamp=1782459883&raw=0 - https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=hipblaslt&arch=arm64&ver=7.1.1%2Bdfsg-4&stamp=1782465577&raw=0

So this is not a Python3.15 specific issue. Setting the severity to serious.
