As it is "serial" in name file I tried to remove "serial" device from machines: <serial type="pty"> <source path="/dev/pts/7"/> <target type="isa-serial" port="0"> <model name="isa-serial"/> </target> <alias name="serial0"/> </serial> And indee this makes a differences - without serial Vistas started while with serial device hangs. Also XP machines which hanged previously - after removing serial device they started to work. BUT there are XP machines which has serial device and still works - this is kind of mystery for me.
