Package: python3-ezgb Version: 0.2.0-1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected] Control: block -1 by 910108
Dear Maintainer, ezgb reads git-bug repositories directly through pygit2, but every write operation (creating bugs, adding comments, changing labels or status, creating or adopting identities) runs the git-bug command-line tool as "git -C <repo> bug ...". See git_bug_cli() in ezgb/_git.py. git-bug isn't packaged in Debian yet (RFP #910108), so writes fail with git's "'bug' is not a git command" error. Reads still work. Once git-bug is in the archive, python3-ezgb should depend on it and this bug can be closed. -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: arm64 Kernel: Linux 7.2.7+deb14-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages python3-ezgb depends on: ii python3 3.14.7-3 ii python3-pygit2 1.19.3-1+b1 python3-ezgb recommends no packages. python3-ezgb suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
