Hi,

An update on this RFP, since the original details are out of date:

* Package name    : git-bug
  Version         : 0.11.0
* URL             : https://github.com/git-bug/git-bug
                    (moved from github.com/MichaelMure/git-bug)
* License         : GPL-3+ <check against upstream LICENSE>
  Programming Lang: Go

Upstream is actively maintained. Besides the CLI, git-bug now has an
interactive terminal UI, a web UI and bridges that import and export
issues from GitHub, GitLab, Jira and Launchpad.

There is now a concrete user in Debian: b4 0.16 (the kernel
mailing-list workflow tool) has a "b4 bugs" subcommand built on
git-bug. b4 tracks bug reports from lore.kernel.org threads as
git-bug bugs stored alongside the project repository. It needs
git-bug >= 0.10.1. Its Python binding, python3-ezgb, is already in
Debian, but the subcommand can't work without the git-bug binary.

I've filed #1150827 against b4 and marked it as blocked by
this bug. I've also filed #1150829 against python3-ezgb and marked it as
blocked by
this bug.

It would still fit the Debian Go Packaging Team. The Go library
dependencies still need to be checked for which ones are already in
the archive.

Cheers!

Chris
