Package: labwc Version: 0.20.2-1 Followup-For: Bug #1148746 X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
Hello, Further testing has revealed the following additional details: - After Squeekboard closes, the remaining gap is exactly the height of the keyboard. - The issue can affect windows across multiple workspaces, including workspaces that were inactive while Squeekboard was opened and closed on an otherwise empty workspace. - The issue also reproduces with Xwayland disabled. - The off-screen behavior in Chromium depends on its initial state: when started maximized, toggling maximization to recover the space left by Squeekboard leaves the window partially off-screen. When started unmaximized, the same action does not move it off-screen. - The issue has also been observed with other pkgs such as Terminator and Terminus. This may be related to [labwc issue #3407](https://github.com/labwc/labwc/issues/3407), which describes a similar window geometry problem involving reserved screen space and inactive workspaces, although the trigger differs.
